Our Story

Heat Pumps NOW was founded by Blair Ashdowne.

Living in the same part of Christchurch for most of his life means Blair knows his neighbours, and is passionate about his community.

Blair started in the commercial air conditioning trade, working on such projects as the Christchurch Casino, CPIT, and University of Canterbury. He then spent a decade in sales, so he knows all about home heating solutions and how to install them right first time.

After many years working for big companies, he realised people want a local touch and to shop from people they trust. He founded Heat Pumps NOW so you can do just that.

He loves his family, playing touch rugby, and supporting the Crusaders!
